Her debut cookbook was a “#1 New Release” before it even hit bookshelves.

Maria is currently the host of NBC Boston’s premiere lifestyle show, The Hub Today and host/creator of the Edward R. Murrow Award- winning, MOM2MOM with Maria Sansone television show and podcast.

Maria’s impressive resume includes co-hosting LA's popular morning news show, Good Day LA on FOX11 Los Angeles. Maria anchored 20 hours of live television each week transitioning seamlessly from interviewing Hollywood's big stars to covering breaking news.

Thanks to winning a “slam dunk contest” she got her start in front of the camera at just 11 years when she was hired to host regular segments for her local television station in Erie, Pennsylvania. She interviewed many notable sports celebrities like Michael Jordan and was a guest on NBC’s Tonight Show all before her 12th birthday. In a matter of months, she was put under contract by ABC Sports to host Wide World of Sports for Kids and handle live sideline reporting at The Little League World Series earning her the title, "The Youngest Reporter in the History of Network Television". She went on to co-host Gladiators 2000 with Ryan Seacrest all while in middle school. In high school, Maria put broadcasting on hold to focus on school, basketball and being a teenager.

While pursuing her degree at the prestigious S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University Maria was chosen from thousands of entrants to guest host with Regis Philbin on "Live with Regis and Kelly". Upon graduation, she landed the role as VJ for MTV’s college channel, MTVU, where she hosted and produced shows from universities and spring break locations around the world.

Maria’s audience grew globally as host of the groundbreaking morning web show on Yahoo called The 9. She then became an audience favorite at WNBC 4 New York where she was a lifestyle reporter and host appearing each day on New York LIVE while simultaneously hosting the nationally syndicated 1st Look on NBC where she traveled the globe sharing the best places to eat, drink and play. Maria was also staple on TV Guide Network’s Live Red Carpet coverage of all the major award shows where she co-hosted for many years in addition to her work on their weekly entertainment show.

In addition to LIVE with Regis and Kelly, Maria has guest hosted Anderson Cooper Live, EXTRA and contributed to The Kelly Clarkson Show, Access Hollywood, ABC, NBC, CBS Sports and ESPN. She has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Good Morning America, The CBS Early Show, Dateline NBC, Showbiz Tonite, and more. She has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times, USA Today, People Magazine, Sports Illustrated, Glamour Magazine and more.

After successful broadcasting careers in NYC and LA Maria wanted to raise her kids in a small community, closer to family. She and her husband, Josh, and their children, Grace and Benjamin moved cross-country (again!) to a seaside town near Boston, MA.

When she’s not hosting tv shows, developing new recipes and creating content for her social media viewers…she enjoys traveling, coaching girls’ basketball, teaching kids’ cooking classes, entertaining and playing tennis & pickleball with friends.
