Maria Sansone
Emmy Award-Winning Host • Multi-Media Personality • Founder of Sansone Co.
Maria Sansone has spent her life in front of the camera — evolving from one of the youngest reporters in network television history into a trusted television host, lifestyle creator, and modern media personality.
With a career spanning national television, digital media, podcasting, and brand partnerships, Maria brings together decades of live broadcasting experience with the authenticity and adaptability of today’s content landscape.
Today, her work lives at the intersection of television, lifestyle content, and strategic brand storytelling — creating media that feels polished, relatable, and genuinely useful.
A Lifetime in Front of the Camera
Maria began her broadcasting career at just 11 years old as a sports reporter for WJET-TV in Erie, Pennsylvania. Shortly after, ABC Sports signed her to host Wide World of Sports for Kids, earning her recognition as “The Youngest Reporter in the History of Network Television.”
While attending Syracuse University’s prestigious S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, Maria guest co-hosted Live with Regis and Kelly alongside Regis Philbin before launching her career nationally as a VJ for MTVU.
She later became part of the early evolution of digital media as host of Yahoo!’s groundbreaking morning web show, The 9, before joining WNBC New York as a lifestyle reporter and host on New York Live while simultaneously hosting NBC’s nationally syndicated travel series, 1st Look.
Maria went on to anchor Los Angeles’ popular morning show Good Day LA on FOX11, hosting more than 20 hours of live television each week — seamlessly moving between breaking news, celebrity interviews, and lifestyle content.
Her television career has also included hosting and contributing roles with NBC Boston, TV Guide Network, EXTRA, Access Hollywood, ESPN, NESN, ABC, NBC, and CBS Sports, along with appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Good Morning America, Dateline NBC, and more.
Building a Lifestyle Brand
As media evolved, so did Maria.
What began as sharing recipes, entertaining ideas, parenting moments, and everyday solutions across social platforms quickly grew into a highly engaged community drawn to Maria’s approachable style and trusted voice.
That momentum led to the release of her cookbook, Oh $#!% What’s for Dinner? — a collection of no-fuss weeknight recipes designed for busy families and real kitchens. The book quickly became a #1 Amazon bestseller, further solidifying Maria’s connection with audiences beyond television.
The success of the cookbook expanded naturally into the companion YouTube series, Oh $#!% What’s for Dinner?, where Maria continues to blend food, personality, humor, and real-life storytelling in a way that feels both elevated and accessible.
Maria is also the creator and host of MOM2MOM with Maria Sansone, the podcast and video series that earned back-to-back Edward R. Murrow Awards and an Emmy nomination.
